Located one block from the ocean in Pacific Grove, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is a short walk to the beach, local golf links, and downtown restaurants. It’s the ideal place to launch Monterey Peninsula adventures, or simply relax and restore.
Living Spaces:
The newly painted 1,551 sf interior has wood ceilings, mid-century furnishings, and contemporary artwork. A decorative fireplace, wood desk, and 55” television allow for reading, writing, conversation, and your favorite programs. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Kitchen and Dining:
The well-stocked cook’s kitchen has an ocean-peek window and stone counter tops, ample prep space, a double sink, 4-burner gas cook-top, double oven, and refrigerator. Small appliances include a microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. The dining area features a peek of the bay, table for six, and access to a deck with seating and a gas grill.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
All three bedrooms feature new furnishings.
The primary bedroom is beautifully furnished with a king-size bed, dual nightstands, and dresser. There is a roomy closet and access to an ocean view deck. Fall asleep to the sound of the sea! An updated en-suite bath has a tiled shower, vanity, and tile flooring.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, desk, nightstand, and closet and is located near the living areas.
Bedroom #3 has two full-size beds, shared night-stand, and matching dressers.
An updated, full bath is convenient to both guest bedrooms, and features a tile floor, vanity, built-in shelves, and a tub/shower.
This property has Wi-Fi and Roku TV/Smart TV, 2-car garage, washer/dryer, and fenced-in back yard.
Walk a block to nearby coves and enjoy nature at the shore. Search tide pools and spot local marine life: birds, sea otters, harbor seals, dolphins, and whales. The home provides beach chairs, towels, and a portable cooler.
For longer walks, stroll to Pt. Pinos Lighthouse or stunning Asilomar State Beach, treasured for its dramatic sunsets, surfing, tide pools, and white sand. Or walk to the PG Golf Links and play a course framed by cypress trees and sand dunes on the back nine. To the east, you’ll find Lover’s Point Park, ideal for picnics and water sports, kayak and bike rentals, children’s swimming area, restaurant, and snack bars.
Other adventures within reach include Pebble Beach’s world-class golf courses and 17-Mile Drive, Monterey County’s award-winning wine country, Carmel’s charming shops and art galleries, and Big Sur’s hiking. Run or bike the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail, stretching 18 miles along the old Southern Pacific Railway route, or enjoy the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.

Overall Comment
We had a very happy month's stay here at Reef Break. It's one of the best Californian coastal holiday rental homes we have ever stayed in - and we've been in quite a lot! The home is very much as shown in the photos and was spotlessley clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and was a delight to cook in. Good bathrooms and a extremely useful laundry room. Beds and bedrooms are all comfortable and the location is very quiet as well as very near to the ocean. Both the Rental company and the owner were very helpful when minor problems arose:these were dealt with swiftly and effectively.

Overall Comment
We've been visiting Pacific Grove and Carmel for more than half a century, and this is by far the best place that we've stayed. The location couldn't be better, but importantly, the accommodations were stellar -- from a fully equipped kitchen, to comfortable beds, to portable chairs and picnic-ware for cocktail hours at the beach. It was perfect!

My husband and I were so pleased to find Reef Break available for the month of July in Pacific Grove. People at Sanctuary Vacation Rentals went out of their way to accommodate us after a scheduled rental from another Property Management Co. (Carmel Coast Estate and Property Management) was found to have a large rodent problem. We were in a real bind. Finding a rental at the last minute seemed impossible. Reef Break was more than a substitute property. It was a wonderful replacement. Sanctuary came to our rescue.
The location of Reef Break is perfect. It is just a block up from the main scenic route along Mty Bay. It's minutes away from beach and water. This home has been beautifully updated. It's light and refreshing with a great kitchen and super comfortable beds. This house is especially well stocked for its guests. Having a garage is a plus. There is a stairwell from garage to kitchen. There are a few steps into front door as well.
I highly recommend this home.
