Set in a gated community just steps from Del Monte Beach and the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail, this 1,156-square-foot condo is a marvel of modern style, efficiency and comfort. Each room in this recently renovated 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home features luxury design elements, furnishings and decor. Step out on any of the 5 balconies to smell the fresh sea air; four balconies have peeks of the bay.
Living Spaces
The layout covers 3 levels offering both gathering spots and privacy. Stairs lead to the living room with high-ceilings that enhance a sense of spaciousness. An L-shaped leather sofa faces the wood-burning fireplace and large HDTV. A hanging chair occupies a corner adding a touch of whimsy. Sliding glass doors let in the natural light and open to a small patio with seating. Well-equipped for extended stays!
Sand-toned wood flooring speaks of the nearby beach that stretches for miles in both directions. The dining area and kitchen are a few steps up from the living room, creating a multi-level great room feel.
Kitchen and Dining
The spacious dining and kitchen area opens onto 2 balconies—one featuring a gas grill. A marble-topped table with 4 chairs provides an elegant dining spot.
GE Café appliances include a 6-burner gas stove with double oven, a refrigerator with 2 freezers, a dishwasher, and a microwave/convection oven tucked into the island that seats two. Filtered cold and instant hot water as well as ice are dispensed from the fridge door.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Take the open staircase to the upper floor that includes two bedrooms set at opposite ends of the hallway.
Bedroom #1 is a luxurious suite, with a queen-size Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed with massage function as its centerpiece and there is a roomy balcony with seating and a bay view. The en suite bath features stone tile flooring, a large soaking tub set in a glassed-in shower with dual shower heads, a Toto toilet with smart bidet and heated seat and a towel warming rack.
Bedroom #2 has a set of full/double-size bunk beds designed for adults, built on a heavy-duty steel frame with a ladder to the top bunk. Sliding glass doors lead to a balcony that’s equipped with 2 chairs, a rug and a small table.
The en suite bath has a Toto toilet, and shower.
A half-bath is located on the lower level near the bonus room.
Bonus Room
The garage on the lower level was transformed into a multi-use space with a 55” HDTV, gaming system, corner sofa that pulls out into a queen bed, and a washer and dryer. The garage door can be opened to create an indoor-outdoor space.
Walk the beach or Rec Trail to historic downtown Monterey, Fisherman’s Wharf and Custom House Plaza. A little further down is the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium. Shops, restaurants that span the cuisines of the world, bakeries, brew pubs, wine tasting rooms, cafes and grocery stores are within a mile-or-so walk or a short drive. Convenient highway access takes you north to San Francisco and south to Carmel Valley and the coastal envy of the world—Big Sur.
Well-behaved small dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.
Unassigned parking is plentiful near the unit within this gated community.
This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.

I'm enjoying my long stay in the condo with a view of the ocean. pretty quiet and close drive to the clinics in which I work. close to walking/biking path, the wharf, aquarium, Monterey sports center, Starbucks, captain stoker's and dust bowl brewery. All walkable - approximately a mile or less, except the aquarium might be 2 miles. great location.
